The mountain rescue rangers Gabe (S. Stallone) and Hal (Michael Rooker, HENRY PORTRAIT OF A SERIAL KILLER) are taken hostage by a group of crooks. The gangsters demand that they help them with reaching a crashed plane full of money.
When Gabe seemingly perishes in a fall, he has the chance to fight back and save his friend.

The film Renny Harlan chose to make after DIE HARDER may be a lesser known gem from Stallone's golden days as an action star but it still offers solid action as well as John Lithgow as a fiendish villain.
